I developed this piece for a seminar I was giving on fundraising writing for a local professional organization. It started as an exercise in curiosity: just how many kinds of writing for fundraising were there?
After I came up with my list, I asked around and found some more. I was shocked - and you may be too. Not only were there nearly 100 (and maybe you'll give me three more to make it an even 100?) but they could pretty much be put into three categories: Their use (type), their length, and whether they were used before, during and after a solicitation.
What I found was that after the attendees received the information, it helped them plan their work because they could better see all that was involved to carry out a fundraising method, but it could also be used as a checklist so they didn't miss any important steps.
Fill out the form below for your copy, and a get, via email, five (yes, 5) other pieces that can help your fundraising thrive.
Have a great Nonprofit Day!
