Should you still seek grants during the COVID-19 pandemic? That’s a question that has come up in my grant writing support group on Facebook several times. Some are nervous about grant writing and are hesitant to reach out to their funders. In this video, I give my insights on whether it’s a good idea to keep writing.
In this video, I talk through short term and long term grant writing strategies given the impact of COVID-19, and strategies for how to approach funders during this period as you begin to write grants.
I also offer tips for new nonprofit organizations. If you’re not available for the recent federal programs (Paycheck Protection Program and the Economic Injury Disaster Loan- EIDL), I offer some alternatives in this video.
