Funding has long been an area that demands a significant portion of the resources of non-profit organisations (NPOs). The lack of structure in the system contributed to severe funding shortfalls experienced by NPOs during the COVID-19 pandemic. A recent initiative that will attempt to solve some of these issues, set to be implemented in the near future, is the proposed Social Stock Exchange.
