Does the Church need a Car? is FREE courtesy of Jeff Pospisil

I’m not a car guy. I value a vehicle that can get me reliably from A to B. And if I can get from A to B even cheaper, all the better. Back in 2010, someone basically donated a car to my work. I drove it for four years. I did the math and I easily saved $15,000 by not having to reimburse mileage.
I think this would be a great idea for a church…especially if the pastor serves 2+ churches so there is a lot of mileage to reimburse. Instead of trading in the vehicle, donate it to the church, claim the charitable deduction, and save the church a bunch of money.
