WHO WE ARE
Whether you are employed or self-employed, you should be managing your career. This means keeping your documents up to date, refining your networking skills, building your sphere of influence, and building your technology skills.
For almost a decade GreatCareers/BENG has offered career success groups for jobseekers, monthly meetings with speakers, purposeful structured networking, social events, and workshops on career transition, career management, entrepreneurship, social media topics of interest, LinkedIn workshops. Starting as the Philadelphia Area Great Careers Group, in 2020 with the merger with BENG, GreatCareers/BENG now has chapters from New Jersey to Georgia. In 2020 GreatCareers/BENG introduced video conference meetings, so it can now serve job seekers from throughout the USA.
NONPROFIT CAREER NETWORK
In 2019, the Nonprofit Career Network (NCN) became an official chapter of GreatCareers/BENG chapter as the only chapter to focus on a specific industry. Now meeting monthly via video, NCN brings together career changers, job seekers and nonprofit networkers from a wide variety of missions and skills to discuss current job trends, aid each other in identifying opportunities and hear speakers focused on nonprofit careers. Meeting are typically on the mornings on the third Thursday of the month.
