Introduction to Survey Design for Nonprofits
August 17 @ 11:00 AM - 11:30 AM CDT$10
About this event
Increasingly, nonprofits are being called upon by their stakeholders to provide “proof” that their programs are successful. In addition, organizations must demonstrate need and share how their program will address this clearly defined need. While most nonprofit leaders agree that collecting data and measuring success is important, the ability to document tangible outcomes remains elusive for many organizations. Many nonprofits collect surveys to illustrate their impact, but we have found that many surveys are written by individuals with minimal training, don’t quite measure what you want to know, and are often not even focused on important program outcomes. This workshop will cover the basics of effective survey design, highlight the different points in time for surveys, and showcase how to collect survey data in a strategic way throughout your program.
