Visual Identity & Strategic Branding for Nonprofits

What does it mean to build a brand? Is it a new logo or website? Or does it need to go further, shifting your alignment of mission, message and programming?
Even a small change in logo, color or font will impact the development of your marketing and fundraising materials for months if not years. If you are making the change because your imagery is out of date, then that’s a great place to start.
But if your problem is deeper – like a message that is not connecting, and audience that isn’t clear on your value or a disconnect between what you say and what you do – then changing your look won’t fix it.
This class will explore the differences between visual identity and strategic branding. We’ll focus on when each is valuable – and how to uncover where you need to start to see the change you need to thrive.
